This photograph depicts the Alabama National Guard rifle team of 1913. These twenty-five men were the best marksmen from the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Alabama Infantry Regiments. They competed in the Evans' Skirmish Rifle Match at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio, where they placed second out of over 100 teams and won $340 in prizes.
